Back at the lab, Cosima, haunted by vicious memories and news of Delphine, attempts a dangerous Hail Mary to find a cure. Summary

Sarah, Alison and Cosima all feel some deep seated sense of responsibility for Kendall's murder. That event leads to a strain between Sarah and Mrs. S., who also believes Sarah is largely at fault. As such, Sarah reverts back to old habits and contemplates following the lead of another one of the sisters, while Mrs. S., with the help of Art, decides that some revenge is in order. Although feeling the severity of the situation, the Hendrixes decide to hold Gemma's birthday party as planned to retain some normalcy in their children's lives. But with things swirling around them in light of Kendall, the party takes an interesting turn. Cosima and Scott have to figure what their next steps are in light of all their research being wiped out and/or in the hands of the Neolutionists. With the one small but integral part of the Neolutionists work in their hands, Cosima makes a unilateral decision on how best to proceed at her own risk. In finding out what is happening with the sisters, Felix feels the need to come to their assistance, specifically with Cosima in telling her what little he has learned about Delphine's fate. Meanwhile, with Evie now leading the Neolution project, Sarah, Alison and Cosima in particular are seen as being threats to the success of the work, while Rachel tries to figure out where she fits into the picture still being under Susan and Ira's custody.
